This project entailed HVAC, architectural and electrical renovations to GE’s Research and Development headquarters.
Martin-Zombek Construction provided demolition and reconstruction of ceilings to facilitate the HVAC upgrades. The continuous nature of the corridors would typically require the use of seismic compression posts. However, the corridor plenum was very congested. We were able to engineer and strategically place soffits to eliminate the use of the posts, saving project time and money.
